22 silhouette match

Someone was telling me about a 22 silhouette match in Gonzales. If anyone knows the particulars, I would appreciate the what, when, where for the match. Thanks RZ

What more do you need?

Bring a reliable mag fed .22 gun with a scope and come out and shoot.

Awesome bunch of guys though, you may not even need the above at all just show up!

Really good offhand technique training.

I think it is the 3 or 4th Saturday if I am not mistaken the

and Joe D. does it in the winter.

That is the pistol match. I think they were seeking info about the rifle match.

10-22 and a scope any good for this?

I use a 10/22 but it is fully kitted with a GM match barrel and a 6.5-24X44 scope usually set for 16 power.

I am building a 10/22 with a reworked factory barrel that should shoot at leat as well as that one.

A factory 10/22 barreled gun would be OK if you find it's happy ammo, you'll need at least 1" groups at 50 yards but MOA would be better.
