WTS Beretta mod. 92F $300 w/3 clips, holster, 2 boxes Rnds

I am selling this Beretta mod. 92F. AS you can see the was a Jefferson Parish Sheriffs Office gun. Its in fine shape and I will include whats in the pic. I would like to get $300 for everything as I have a lil more than that in it. I live in Picayune area. I can take more pics and answer any questions.

Yes I live in Miss.

I have NO idea how old it is.
I have no Idea how many rounds (lets Guess a lot)
I got the gun from a Deputy (family member)
I have bin trolling for a while - This is the first time I had a reason to post.

Edit: now that I think about it I guess it isn't any different than any of the other police trade in guns that are stamped with department markings.

When we transitioned to the Beretta PX4 Storms about a year ago, we were able to buy our old Beretta. the rest were sold like other p[olice trade-ins, so they are out there.

It's legit.

I bought one from a JP who said it was his duty weapon and he bought it when they switched to the PX4. I just checked mine and it didn't have JPSO engraved on the side.

When I retired in 2006 I was not allowed to keep or purchase my issued weapon! I really wanted to purchase it and was told that it was not allowed.

When we transitioned a year ago, we received a memo. A year ago was 2007.

Not all the Beretta were engraved. Most were. There were some Cougars, mostly 92F, and I think a handful of Cheetahs?

Everyone got the chance to buy theirs first, and then the rest were sold to CDNN.

We bought them from CDNN and they were transfered back to us by a FFL dealer.

JR1572, Nolacopusmc & others Thanks for chiming in. It was part of that deal you guys are referencing. It was a Buy back from the department when yall swapped to the new weapons.

I just woke up and read threw the post. Thanks for warm welcomes. The Gun is Legit - We can run numbers - or go threw a FFL if that would put you at ease. I have nothing to hide. I have only had it for a little while now. I kinda got a thing for stainless guns. I have no complaints about it, Just want something different.

Thanks and let me know if anyone is intrested. I figured I would try here before I took an add out in the times Picayune.

If you're a resident of Picayune, you can only do a FTF with another Mississippi resident. If you wish to sell it to someone out of state (i.e. in NOLA), you have to transfer it through a FFL.
