You must be looking at an old tally site. I checked several, and he's dead last, except for those delegates allocated to candidates (Perry, Bachmann, etc.) who've already dropped out.

John King announced it to the world as he was interviewing Paul post debate last night. But you know how CNN lies. :mamoru:

Maybe he is a "liberal" plant, (he will run as an independent), to take away enough voters in the general election from the GOP candidate and this will ensure a BHO RE-ELECTION.

Could be the whole idea of him running, to be sure BHO gets re-elected.

    It's food for thought.

    Jim are you trolling?

I hope this isn't a serious question. OF COURSE Ron Paul isn't getting media coverage, because the liberal media is scared to DEATH of what would happen if Paul became POTUS.

Too many people are listening to the media when they do decide to mention Ron Paul. "He's not electable," "He doesn't have the right look," etc...

If you hear it enough, it becomes true. Personally, I like his policies and have been planning to vote for him. I almost succumbed to the media spin that he just can't get the nomination and was leaning toward gingrich, but caught myself falling into the media's agenda. If everyone simply looked at his views and voted for him (or not) based on his agenda, he will have the same chance as anyone.

If you like his policies, vote for him. Don't worry about what the media tells you about his chances.

I think if you could take all the things Ron Paul believes in and says and put them in a canidate that was a better public speaker and was smoother he would have a larger fan base. That's how dumb the sheeple are IMO

I wouldn't vote for him based on his policies, the majority isn't going to vote for him based solely on his policies. His policies make him a "non serious" candidate, when added to his debate performances. All this stuff about his age, his look etc doesnt really matter IMO. The only thing "non presidential" about him that hurts him is his whiny voice. Well, his racist newsletters probably hurt him with the minority groups, but there's a lot of questions about his involvement there (namely negligence, who the hell doesn't read the stuff printed in their name? That was dumb).

How can you ignore any possible candidate? they could be leading you one day. I may not like what they have to say, but I sure as hell listen to what each candidate has to say. How else do you know who your favorite candidate is? already decided?

This country is too closed minded. Once you have an idea in your head, no one can change that and it's dangerous. There is definitely not a stand out correct choice so to dismiss what Ron Paul believes in is wrong. At least he is willing to actually stand up for his country instead of try to give it away. you make me sick

Ron Paul won't be the guy, whatever the reason. Maybe it's because he doesn't like his chocolate Ovaltine at the right temperature.
Maybe it's because of his stupid ideas of closing all forward deployed military bases. Who can honestly speak for every person who does not like him?
All I can say is I think he's a nutjob. Why the media ignores him? No clue. I don't hang with any leftist media types who can tell me.

David Duke? Seriously? You're comparing Ron Paul to David Duke? Crawl back into your hole.

Crawl back into yours. I didn't compare them, except that I ignored them both.

That was pretty funny actually! The irony and sheer craziness of it and all!

Yep, their hype are both ironic and crazy, just like the candidates themselves.

If Paul were not an isolationist he would be the man. But on another note if you have watched all the debates he has always hammered the flavor of the week candidate. Except Romney, he has never hammered Romney as harshly as the others. Pundits are stating to pickup on this and think that there may be a convention deal to run Rand as VP with Romney.

For crying out loud, I haven't logged in for 6 weeks, and this Paul crap is still the same. Its like herpes, it lasts forever.

He is ignored b/c he cannot be bought and owned like these others.

That would be correct. Because he's too busy with the paperwork necessary to claim expense reimbursement for the same items from two sources. Yep, that's the kind of integrity I crave.

Jeez, this guy resigned the Republican Party in 1987 to run for President as a Libertarian. And he's been running for 25 years since. That's a tie with Socialist Norman Thomas. What a pathetic, sick, weak crock of ................

I agree, Ron Paul is a kook. He's ran for president three times. He doesn't want to go to war unless Congress declares war. He wants to base our currency on something standard, like gold. He wants to eliminate useless government alphabet agencies. He wants to eliminate income tax. He sounds like a few other crazy people like Milton Friedman, Walter Williams, and Thomas Sowell. He wants to take the Federal government out of peoples everyday lives. He served in the military during a time of war. He read The Constitution, and thinks that it is something that the U.S. government should follow!!!
