I asked the question on the LDWF website about the .22 deal and hogs about two weeks ago and they haven't answered.

I emailed their contact information on their website about a week ago and haven't gotten an answer yet from enforcement division on the definition of a "standard .22 rimfire firearm". I've asked other questions in the past that biologists answered right away. I guess the enforcement division doesn't feel they have to answer questions from the public that they serve.

Ok I got a answer from LDWF it was from Adam Einck and here it is.

Mr. *****: Standard .22 is any .22 rim fire including .22 magnum. Any action whether single-shot, semi-auto, slide, or lever is legal. The .17 rim fire would be legal also.
