I was eating lunch at the Quiznos on the corner of Jefferson and Highland--and this happed a couple of doors down at the Snap Fitness. An older couple going to park, obviously the guy hit the gas instead of the brake. Luckily only one girl cut a scrape, and there were no serious injuries.

Hey- at least most of 'em drive slow, unlike most of the pizza-faced, lowrider truck-driving mommasboys I encounter daily (who don't seem to know what a turn signal is)....

There's another thread about ExpressDMV in BR---let me tell you about the last time I was there.

Two old ladies getting their licenses renewed. After the eye test, and paying their money, they tell this lady to stand in front of the blue screen on the wall to take her picture. This old lady walks up to the blue screen and stands there, FACING THE WALL!!!

"Excuse me ma'am, you have to turn this way and face the camera."

    "Oh, oh, okay."

They're admiring their new licenses as I leave, shaking my head. These people are driving out there.

They really should have to take an actual driving test over age 70.

Of course DMV would have to find some people willing to ride with them.

Maybe a simulator option? Maybe a round of NFS?
