Glad to hear things are going so well. He is so cute. I'll keep praying, especially since it would be a great b-day present.

Great news! Has Gucci settled down?

Yeah he has a bit. He smells hugo on us after we visit, so i think he knows hugo is still around, just not at home

Well, we finally have a happy ending. Hugo came home Friday morning! He has amazed pretty much everybody with his progress! One tech told us he has seen dogs take up to six months post-op to have the kind of mobility Hugo has now just 9 DAYS post-op. He goes back to get his staples out in 2 weeks, and he's still on kennel rest for 4 weeks, but at least he's home and on the mend.
Here he is a few minutes ago, chillin' on the sofa with mommy:

I know thats good news,I have lost three dogs this year, one to a cougar, one to my truck, one to gettn into a rat bait I didn't know was there

I really did pray for a good outcome for you, I have prayed for my dogs a lot, lost, snakebite, u name it. Always good results till now.

But life always ends the same,

My dogs stay "chillin" on the sofa, can't get them to do much else!
