I have said this on other grounds (typically panic buys & price gouging), but the statement stands here as well: WE are our own worst enemies.


Absent a groundswell of public opinion on the outskirts of our lifetimes from another generation (ala marijuana decriminalization or equal marriage act) we will NEVER see a trend other than a steady tightening of the noose around the neck of private gun ownership. Fear of losing more by opening a door is utterly groundless.
