As your personal favorite mod, I don't really see much wrong here. There's honestly some good discussion, and the few times that people stepped over the line, it was dealt with. If you have a problem with any specific post, you're always welcome to report it, and it will be handled as we see fit.

That may be my fault - posting OP is admin, J$ first reply, maybe mods didn't want to close it.

I thought about locking it - would have been the first thread in years I did that too - but I didn't feel like encouraging the "mods just lock what they don't like" / "us vs them" nonsense.

In any case, I hope he gets his $50K and is a thorn under the saddle of the powers that be. That is the most it that will come of this.

Yep! I should probably donate more than the couple of dollars I gave.

Even though it'll probably go nowhere it's still worth it.
