    What about a Kahr 9mm?

    NEVER.

I owned one of those pieces of ****.

Went back to the factory 3 times. (Bought it new)

They treated me like ****, talked to me like I was an idiot, made ME pay for shipping (ON A NEW GUN) and NEVER managed to make it run right.

I will NOT buy a Kahr... he;; Since they bought Auto Ordanance... I won't even have one of them!

I have three Kahr's and they have been 100% reliable so far, not one issue with them. I do clean and lube my guns on a regular basis even when they have not been fired. I know some people had issues with earlier Kahr's and Kahr customer service is not as good as some companies such as S&W or Glock.

I bought 'after the bugs were worked out'

    ...So they said.

    Did some research.

IF you get a good one... your golden.

    If not...

    There's little middle ground.

Don't get rid of any you have that work!

More than a few people have had the same issue(s) as I.

On the subject of shooting airweights and recoil. I agree. Grips make a huge difference. That and load you some nice 110 grain practice rounds if you reload.

derringer, p3at, lcp, j-frame, or kahr pm9. only routes i would go and i'm not even a big fan of the derringer unless you have a good caliber.

I carried a P-11 for a year then switched to the P-32 for several years, you almost forget it's there. I was wanting to find a P-3AT but no cash for that right now. I really want a PF-9 though, as a primary CCW and P-3 as BUG.

I have and carry both the P3AT and the P11 with the P11 with a spare magazine as my main carry gun. I have found them to be accurate and reliable and you can't beat the warranty on them.
