Not sure soon is the right time to go to Taiwan LOLTaiwan - toured the majority of the country. Taipei memorials and temples were amazing. Street food was second to none. People are kind and hospitality is amazing. Hotels and resorts are really exceptional. Visited numerous historic sites and spa's are legendary. Royal Museum and Tea House was really special, artwork was incredible. Learning about the brave souls that founded the true Republic of China was humbling. Made me a lifelong supporter of our Taiwanese allies.
Hope to return again soon. It is truly Formosa.
Now THAT is my kind of trip!Grand Canyon with my adult son and Horseshoe Canyon horseback riding with my daughter.

Lesssgoooo!Just did a 7 day backpacking trip in the Grand Teton National Park. Too much in the US to see before I head out of the country.View attachment 169406View attachment 169420
We took the tram in Teton Village up to 10450 feet. Then took the Rendezvous mountain trial over to Middle South Granite canyon which drops down to 9000 feet. Camped there one night then hiked to Marion Lake which is 9600 feet and camped one night. Hiked over to Death Canyon Shelf for two nights. Due to ice and snow further down the Crest Trail over Hurricane pass we hiked down Death Canyon, camped one night. Finished our trip with a hike to Phelps Lake with a one night camp.Lesssgoooo!
What elevation were y'all hiking at?
Was there water at that elevation or did you have to melt snow? Or did you just carry a **** ton of water? We took the tram in Teton Village up to 10450 feet. Looks like a damn good time!Found more pics of that trip.
There was plenty of water due to the snow melt from the late winter. The only place water was somewhat scarce was down in Death Canyon. Water was a couple hundred yards from the camping sites. Was there water at that elevation or did you have to melt snow? Or did you just carry a **** ton of water?

A two week dive trip sure sounds fun! It's been on my bucket list for awhile to get certified.I’m a trucker so every trip I make home is my favorite. My 2nd was a 2 week dive trip on a boat in Honduras. Night diving is especially cool. We hit all the good spots around the bay islands.
Thank you for your service!I won an all expense paid extended beach trip back in 2004. It was cool. It barely rained. There was a lot of sand but not much water. And it ran a little long.
It's sounding like I'll be getting certified this Fall before cancun/cabo next spring!A two week dive trip sure sounds fun! It's been on my bucket list for awhile to get certified.
