I have one in .40 that has never given me problems.
    No malfunctions ever.

And now that I've put a good 800+ rounds throught it, the trigger has a nice smooth feel to it.

But yeah, it was a brick out of the box.

Well, that answers that! Basically, if I bought one, I'd HAVE to get a trigger job done for... $75? At that point just take the 350+75 and get a different weapon...

Some have even gone as far as calling it "the fan favorite"!

I had a Sigma 380 for a short while. Notice I said "a short while"....

I have a Sigma 380 that I bought new in the early 90's. This thing got a lot of bad press, but I have NEVER had any issues with it.

Actually sold a glock 22 for a sigma 9mm. Wolf spring about $8 shipped. Polished the internals myself. 2000 rounds and counting. Not one ftf or stovepipe. Small enough to conceal, and with the crimson trace laser @ 20 yds have a 2" grouping.

I also own a springfield 1911, ruger gp100, and a taurus 617. The sigma is my favorite to shoot.

    My .02

What can I say....I shoot what I like, not what everyone else thinks I should like. I hated the Glock. Reliable, but ugly and not accurate. Like a Fat ugly wife, but she can cook.

When it gives me a reason to hate it, I will

How much you like or dislike a Sigma varies widely by a person's experience level with handguns. If you have not shot many different varieties or have not shot handguns with professional competition type actions etc than the Sigma will be fine to you. You'll never notice the difference in quality of feel etc. I've felt some pretty sh!tty triggers that were done by very well respected nationally printed gunsmiths. But they CAN'T be bad. I paid SO much for it.

You can outshoot a Glock? And the Sigma is pretty and a tack driver?

I definitely respect your stance and opinion, but... I gotta disagree on these two points.

I would go up against any of my handguns for accuracy......except my gp 100.

I respect anyone's position....shoot what feels good to you. For me,yes, I can drive tacks with MY sigma. Shoot it alot too. That is probably why I can shoot it so well. As for as my glock, I hated it. Several FTF and misfire. Slide failed to fully engauge forward. Just did not like it. Was not accurate past 10 yds.

    Dont know.....just my experience
