If you want you can set up a time to come over and press out your barrel pins and barrels. If we try to do this at the build party you'll never get close to building rifles. #1Bambam and I will gladly meet with you to help demill your kits. Let us know if you need help.

I guess I need help pressing my barrel and some other things. I'm going crazy with wanting to do all that I can possibly do. Do you see anything wrong with me boiling the pistol grip to clean it? Do ya'll refinish ya'lls stocks and heat shields? Do you soak any of your pieces in mineral spirits?

Also I'm going to have to feed this thing where would I find the best deals on x39?

Yes you can strip and refinnish the wood.On the but stock only remove the rear plate (2 screws)And the shoulder strap hardware(2 screws) there are pins going through the wood do not remove these they hold the cleaning kit spring in. On the upper hand guard hold the gas tube with a cresent wrench on the thick side and twist the wood around the gas tube to remove.Ill post pics on how to demill the trunions later.

So what is the best way to get a finish that matches the Parkerization? Does that Black Magic cold blue work well?
