Maybe I'm just a little disheartened that Romney is the leader in the polls.

Honestly, sometimes I feel like we just aren't having our best people run against Obama. Not much in our other republican choices either.

I like a lot about Paul.... I don't think he'll pull much. There are some other things I'm not sure I care for about him, but I kinda think a term with him might be good for the country. It might be too complicated to see how it would work out though.

I think the republicans have lost touch with the common american citizen, who only makes about 30 thousand a year and is struggeling to pay bills, when you see all of the millions of bucks that these canadits make for doing nothing, it's very disturbing...to a lot of people..

The good news is that we exhume Adolph Hitler and run him and probably still win if they ran the election right. We need to run on Obama's record and beliefs and anyone could beat him. What's worrying me is that we probably won't mention his record...

If Romney gets the nomination Obama wins. No (significant) tea party vote. No money, except his personal bank account, no grass roots movement. Depressed conservative turnout will lead to disaster in swing states.

I am hearing Romney from a lot of Christian Church folks b/c of his tithing claims...like tithing makes up for what he is lacking, although in mega churches I don't doubt he looks like a sheep ( one of the flock )

We must devise a better method than relying on the National Republican Party, which has very different goals than the American People.

They have controlled the process to avoid nomination of any real PATRIOT. In their own way, the RNC is as dangerous to our liberties as the Democrats.

We must have a nomination system not dominated by **** ant states like Iowa and New Hampshire or the RNC !

The biggest thing is the economy and indicators are improving in that realm. If things keep going that way, he might get some pull on his record.

    That's my concern.

Although I'm not sure Hitler would carry the Northeast, you make some really good points. Chances are they will have gone after one another harder than they will Obama- and that could spell 4 more years of damage.

Obama will get his second term. And in reality it's no worse that Newt or Romney winning. None of the stuff Obama has done would get repealed anyways.

With all that he has done in Massachusetts, Romney being at the forefront of this thing has me dumbfounded. Having done those things for which conservatives are against, yet they vote for the mofugga is just incomprehensible. Peoples is dumb I tells ya.

Sadly, I disagree with Charles. I have NEVER seen such anger among true conservatives at the stupidity of the Republican establishment as I am now. They are SEETHING with rage, even coining a new acronym: GOP-E, for the GOP Elites who have anointed Romney as the chosen candidate. Many conservatives who held their noses and reluctantly voted McCain are adamantly refusing to vote for the liberal, RINO, pro-abortion, anti-gun turd Romney. In my opinion, Romney is a guaranteed loser against 0sama, which is why the liberal media is propping him up. Why the GOP-E is doing so is completely incomprehensible; I think they are indeed that stupid and out of touch with reality. You'd think that 2008 would have taght them that middle of the road moderates are losers; I guess not.

I believe Newt Gingrich said it best about Romney: "Why would the GOP nominate the moderate who lost to the moderate who lost to Obama?" Yet, though Gingrich will fight to the end, it appears that the GOP-E intend to repeat the same mistake, only worse!

Christian Conservatives supporting Romney because of tithing? If so, they must be truly uninformed, or completely taken in by the current press coverage. Watch and see - if he ends up as the nominee, you will witness every detail of the Mormon church and its most bizarre tenets blasted across every network, causing those same Christians to reel in horror and stay home en masse on election day. Just as the media did for McLame - build him up until the general, then go after him mercilessly. Game over, and 0sama wins it handily.

As for an 0sama victory being no different than anybody else, that is utter bullsh!t, and typical of the "Other than Ron Paul, they're all exactly the same" mantra of the Paulestinians. Even a$$hole Romney would be MARGINALLY better than 0sama; while Gingrich, Santorum, or even Messiah Paul a HELLUVA lot better. I'm surprised that our country has survived 3 years under the 0sama regime; though it is doing so only by a thread. It will not survive 4 more years. Even if complete socioeconomic and/or military collapse doesn't occur, the continued runaway spending will get worse exponentially and bring about our demise. And, there's talk that TWO Supreme Court justices are likely to retire during the next presidential term! Remember that our 2A rights, and MOST other crucial votes in recent years, were upheld by a 5-4 margin. In other words, we have been ONE VOTE away from losing on many fundamental issues. If the current Socialist-In-Chief gets to put 2 more Communists on the Supreme Court, in addition to the 2 he has already seated, we are screwed for decades on yet another front, and one that is the foundation of our country's very existence and our own individual rights.

Newt said tonight he wants ObamaCare, Dodd-Frank, Sarbanes-Oxley on his desk the day of his inauguration.

Long before the campaigning kicked off , I knew Obama would serve another term . Now , it's obvious that there is nobody out there that can beat him . The machine is too big and too strong to overcome with those clowns the GOP are running .
