Prayers to all in its path. Even if it stays at a class 1, the storm surge is projected 5-10 feet along that portion of the coast from Cameron to Port Fourchon.

I have gotten to where I really dislike these friggin hurricanes.

The grass is cut, I have more TP than I'll need, Been so long since I had beer I don't remember what it tastes like. I bought a brand new chain for each chainsaw without checking whether I had one already!! Got a Miller Bobcat in the back yard that can keep a few appliances running. Tomorrow all USB batteries will get charged, along with Milwaukee tool batteries (I have an adapter to get USB out of them). I've got a jumper box that will jump start a diesel locomotive I can get USB out of as well. The truck and the car are all gassed up. Shotgun, check; rifle, check; 4 wheel drive, check. Don't know what I'm forgetting.

Having said all that...The day after the flood of '16 my truck was dead. Had to hump my battery to the Wal-Mart and exchange it for a new one!
