LOOONNNNGGGGG time ago a man my father knew went on a guided hunt in Wyoming. I'm not sure of the particulars so I apologize beforehand if it sounds disjointed.

This guy shot a mule deer that darted back across a dilapidated fence. You could tell there was supposed to be property line or division of some sort but it wasn't much of one. And in this particular area it wasn't marked or posted.


Did you notice I said it was in Wyoming? Home of Yellowstone National Park. Yup. He did. He crossed the busted broken down wire fence to retrieve his deer. I'm not sure what happened to the guide but I know for certain He…. Lost…. Everything…

The truck he was in, his guns, the money in his wallet (figuratively), all of his hunting gear. They came down on him harder than the hand of God.

I'm pretty sure the first on is Tarver I've looked at his FB page.
Don't know about the second, is that a FB page picture I couldn't find him.
Didn't get a good look at them that night it was out in a pasture.

Oh and EBRSO has charges on them too for the Criminal trespass and traffic stuff for their truck

Thats is awesome to hear... I am glad they are caught and looks like getting the book thrown at them.Ther is no reason to kill a pet. Especially when they shot it from thier truck. I hope Bubba in jail likes pretty white boys... LOL

I might be wrong, but I assume that now the owners of the dog could sue them for emotional pain etc....

Because restitution on stolen wildlife is based on the economic impact of what the animal is worth as "game" in the state. It has nothing to do with the dog, they are not protected "game" animals.

And, I don't think they will serve ANY jail time other than when they were arrested originally!

I know of a guy, that was convicted of running and selling meth, then escaped from custody on his way to sentencing, and is back on the street today. He served less than 3 years!
