I have to admit. I did pay Jim/Hebert over charge prices once. But it was because they had something that was hard to find, I wanted it NOW, and was tired of looking. I paid about 400 over what the gun was worth.

I think most of us have been there before, plus you have to figure out what your time is worth. Sometimes it's cheaper in the long run to overpay

After sitting for over a week with no power after hurricane Ida I went to baton rouge to visit my parents... Seen jim's.. I walked in with mindset im walking out with something and I didn't care if I over payed. Lol... Me and the employee talked for over an hour bull shitting. I probably held 10 plus different guns and he was cool with it. I walked out with a cmmg banshee 300 in 45acp. I've been wanting one and they were a little above msrp... I didnt mind it. Best therapy session ever. I walked out happy asf.

Been a few years since I've been in Accurate, but have made several purchases from them when I worked in the area. Good prices, friendly \ helpful staff and smooth dealings for me.

I don't think they are still in business .

A friend was going to Jim's so I asked him to pick up a Magpul MOE-K grip. He came back with an MOE-K2 grip. When I went to exchange/return it they didn't have the MOE-K and wouldn't give me a refund only credit. Ended up getting something I really didn't want or need. Last time there for me.
