Immunity for crimes commited by thier customers.sure. Immunity for making a truly defective product should not be included.
This is my opinion and has nothing to do with the current reality.
In no way did I mean that they shouldn't be held responsible for a defective product.
My whole point was that there is no such exclusive immunity like they claim.

Y'all gonna hate this, especially if you're a 2011 fan boy.

    I gotcha.

Except their legacy series, pre striker fired, are amazing. One of my fav gun series fo all time 220/226/229.

    That last line is hilarious.

Completely agree, sig p226 is on my list of top 10 all time list. And the p365 transformed concealed carry, so credit where it is due.

But I think a lot of us could agree, best not to be an early adopter of new sig products.

Garand Thumb moves the needle on what sells, market for Stacatto may have just taken a hit.

Cant say I’m surprised the p320 passed, they fixed the issue already. The fact that they fixed it is what make Sig’s denial of culpability a head scratcher.

Not sure if a 2011 if the gun for you if you didnt know they dont have a firing pin safety. Same as dropping a Colt Series 70.

Is it me or was that video espousing unsafe behavior? Of all the things YouTube asks to be taken down…… that one still up? Showing people which pistols go off in who knows what direction when dropped is a little loose.

I can tell those guys are on gear now, T increases risk taking behavior.

I can’t tell if you’re joking or being serious but they state at the beginning of the video they are using blanks.

I'm pretty sure Mike is qualified to safely play with firearms.

I believe he is now retired.

Copy / Paste from the Interwebs:

Mike Jones is an active duty U.S. Air Force specialist, Military Survival Instructor and staunch 2A supporter. His YouTube channel, Garand Thumb discusses gun and military culture.

In the Air Force, Mike serves as a member of Air Force Special Warfare as a Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) AFSC 1Z3X1, aligned with conventional, Special Operation Forces, and Tier 1 combat maneuver units.

Indeed, there are few things that can change the course of battle like a properly executed air strike. TACPs imbed with Army and Marine units on the frontline with the responsibility for calling in an air strike, artillery, or naval gunfire, on the right target at just the right time. These highly trained experts go through intense physical, mental and technical training in order to withstand the demanding conditions of battle and provide their team with the firepower they need for continued success on the battlefield.

They weren't even blanks. No powder, just a live primer to go bang.

Of course, when you actually watch the video, you know that.
I definitely realize that, a blank would have cycled the slide.

I sometimes say CCW in place of CHP just to get people worked up……

Everyone knows Sigs are too smart to fire when empty, only if the mags were loaded….

Seriously I enjoyed the video and I had no issues from a safety standpoint but dropping those guns on the concrete did hurt me.

I’ll also be honest and say I have trust issues with Sigs and hopefully I can trust them at some point because I love the way they shoot.

Hopefully not left over blanks from Alec Baldwin…..
I watched it days ago. But we're ammo with bullets and powder removed so just a case and live primer.
I know the 1911 and 2011 went off when dropped. But did they engage the safety?
