    These guys are garbage!

    Sen. Connick, Patrick [R]
    Sen. Bernard, Louie [R]

If they are in your district, you should try to get rid of them!

because they were either politically threatened or politically back-scratched.

Nothing to see here folks...Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain...

When a scumbag politician (Bernard & Connick), gets up to explain (in a historic veto session), to the Chamber why he is switching his vote, you know damn well it smells rotten.

You maintain your dignity more if you just vote the opposite way at your Senate desk and say nothing.

Yet they voted to override for that stupid and frivolous Transgender ban?
WE DID NOT ASK THEM TO OVERRIDE THE GOD DAMN TRANSGENDER BAN!
WE ASKED THEM TO HOLD THIS SESSION FOR THE PROTECTION OF THE SECOND AMENDMENT!

This was a waste of our taxpayer funds. It is insulting to see that they decided to listen to that retarded group known as Focus on the Family instead of Gun Owners of America, the Louisiana Sporting Association, and the NRA.

Those special needs people also listened to the Louisiana Sheriffs Association instead of the people. It’s the lobby group that is headed by failed lawyers who need help getting dressed, cleaning their firearms, and also need to get voted into office so that they get a badge and commission without doing actual police work.

If they had no plans to override the veto then WHY THE HELL DID THEY EVEN BOTHER WITH THIS ******** SESSION?
They should all just go home now. They can take that transgender ban and insert it all the way to the transverse colon of their large intestines!

Recall petition for those that switched. Even if they don't get recalled, it will give the something to worry about. Teach them a lesson.

It’s time that politicians start listening to the people and not to these special interests. One would have thought that 2016 was a lesson to be learned, at least to these RINOs but perhaps it needs to be much louder and far clearer.

I am just going to say that it is all about the money and benefits that they are interested in. As in, how soon can they get rich with funds and benefits. "Show me the money". "Money talks and BS walks".

Local BR TV reporter stated that it may be possible to be brought up again this session.

I do not know if that is possible or not.

This is a damn shame! They know law-abiding citizens deserve this law. They know other states are adopting this legislation but not poor old backwards ass Louisiana. We just be 2 stupid to have a concealed weapon to proteck ourselves. I know the words are misspelled.

One main reason they are scared of this legislation is because of New Orleans and parts of Baton Rouge, Shreveport, Monroe, Lafayette, and other areas that are like an out of control African village. They are scared it will cause more killing and slaughter as if that's even possible.
