Mardi Gras: How many of you couldn't care less about it?

i am home for mardi gras for the first time in 20 years,i went to bacchus yesterday for 32 minutes.i wasn't scared for my life or anything, i was just disgusted with the amount of sheer ugliness and disrespect going on.i am thoroughly convinced that a majority of the population just does not give a **** about anyone else but themselves. no respect.

with that being said, i'm going to my friends house in metairie tommorrow.

I don't care a bit for Mardi Gras and HATE parades.

Been to the parades, in new orleans and baton rouge. Couldnt pay me to go back. Ill stick to St. Patricks Day. MUCH more family oriented.

The hell with Mardi Gras. I was in Trinidad once during carnival. They party hard and just have a good time. Oddly, that place is dam near a 3rd world country and I feel safer walkin around there than some parts of NOLA
