Gents, I believe that you need a "clipped and pinned" SEF G3 lower to work on your PTR-91. I don't think a stock German surplus SEF lower will fit, and if it did it may be a touch felonious.

Check out Robert Johnson's site for all your HK needs: (the following is from him)

HK SEF plastic G3 lowers are full auto and will not fit onto a semi auto receiver. You can legally convert these lowers to fit onto a semi receiver using a semi fire control group. This conversion is called a 'clip and pin'. We now offer New HK Plastic SEF navy style lowers clipped & pinned with selector for $125. A professional HK gun smith has done the clipped & pin conversions and the work is top rate. Once converted the lower accepts your existing semi auto fire control group and mounts onto your semi auto receiver. This gives you the look of a real full auto while maintaining a legal semi auto rifle. HK G3 Clipped & Pinned lowers fit on any HK91 type rifle including PTR91, Vector V51, Century G3 clones and all other G3 style rifles. Picture below. More pictures and information here:

Also check out Bill Springfield's site, he has what you want:

You can't tell from the pics, but the wood on all these guns aren't in too great of shape, many of blemishes. I want to fix this, but I really don't know how aside from buying new wood stocks, which isn't an option for me right now.

Sure is! Thanks. I just noticed after you asked that it's on the barrel. Still, good to know! I've been curious if accessories existed for the gun, and to potentially score a manual (grandpa bought the gun for my dad at a garage sale)

EDIT: I just found out she's from 1980.

What does it take to build a 10/22?

well it depends on how crazy you want to go.

either you can start with nothing, and buy an entire receiver, trigger group, barrel, and stock. but that is the most expensive way to do so.

or you can do what i did, use either the one you have, or buy a new/used one.
then throw away the barrel, stock, and whatever else you want to swap out.

it is for people looking for really great accuracy, or too be different, or who like to do things themselves.

i do it for a mean nutria snipping/silhouette rig.

You must be putting in some overtime:)

    something like that lol.
one of or vsat guys quit, and another one has been saying he is about to leave soon also.

if that happens that will leave just three of use in the vsat dept.

overtime doesn't bother me as there are a lot of toys i want to buy haha.
