    LOL this was just at Baker Range. I have never shot in any match. Just at paper. I few guys from the plant shoot in the high power matches and gone and watched a few of them at Palo Alto. I think the F class matches are pretty interesting.

    It sounds like the course of fire will echo one from Steel City...which had all the mags preloaded with five rounds individually staged at the four shooting positions.

    No need for mag pouches. As Spanky notes, cargo pants pockets are ideal for AR mags whenever you need to carry 'em. And there's always gear to loan.

    Don't nobody worry bout no damn side match - kung fu, swat equipment, kevlar helmet, special boots, Kbar knife carrying, first aid kit, tacticool, photogenic ultra extra keen garment infrared proof, glove wearing, extra weight pulling, crotch rashing, skin irrating extra gear, etc, (its going to be hot as CRAP) just bring a pistol, holster, 3 mags, mag pouch, and pistol ammo for IDPA portion, then rifle, shotgun and ammo for side match (low ammo count and the mags will be staged at the shooting obstacles), there will be plenty of shooters to help the new guys out, just do not miss the fun and not make it, period !!!

    Do remember, however, to pack a cool lunch, plenty of drinks, sunscreen, a nice brim hat, sweat rag, and if you can convince your wife to come, a fan, so she can fan you while yoou are waiting to shoot, he hee

    What he said! Plenty of sun, Xtra high humidity, and no wind. Bring fluids.
