    Shot 'em,

BUT, I don't know why we ain't hearing more stories about AZ ranchers shooting these tribesmen dead and calling SD ??

I'm all for troops on the border, anything to secure it, just saying I have not heard many , if any, reports of the locals converting any illegals from vertical to horizontal.

If armed people were crossing my property in Louisiana and I felt they were a threat to my life, or my family, I'd take whatever action necessary ???

they are probably using the SSS rule after that 1 rancher got sued for holding some at gun point.

    http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/06/17/clinton-administration-file-suit-arizona-immigration-law/
[Clinton said in an interview with a TV station in Ecuador that the Obama administration "will be bringing" suit against Arizona for its immigration law, though the Justice Department for weeks has said that the issue is still under review.]

    Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer said:
"We are not going to back away from this issue," Brewer said. "We are going to pursue it, we're going to be very aggressive," Brewer said. "We'll meet them in court ... And we will win."
She added: "The population of America agrees with Arizona."

Not implying anything here- except to say that when it comes to dealing with armed invaders, perhaps it's time for AZ to "no longer wait for the permits".....

Arizona should be suing the Feds for dereliction of duty. Gov. Brewer is right, AZ will win.

Border Patrol Charged Millions for Habitat Damage.

    http://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...nterior-stop-charging-millions-border-patrol/

[Environmentalists say the harm to the environment from border security efforts, particularly the massive border fence, is great. Defenders of Wildlife, an organization that has focused on the issue, argues that fence construction along the U.S.-Mexico border is cutting off animal migration routes, disturbing natural habitats and worsening flooding.]

Migration of what coyotes, snakes, scorpions or illegal aliens?

Mexican drug cartels have set up shop on American soil, maintaining lookout bases in strategic locations in the hills of southern Arizona from which their scouts can monitor every move made by law enforcement officials, federal agents tell Fox News.

In the first public incident of its kind, cartels are making direct death threats to U.S. law enforcement officials in Nogales, Arizona, the police chief there told CNN Monday.

Mexico Joins Suit Against Arizona's Immigration Law, Citing 'Grave Concerns'

    http://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...turn-arizona-immigration-law/?test=latestnews

What is so funny (cept it's not) is that Arizona's law is for all practicle purposes the exact same as Mexico's. That is that in Mex, the police DO stop you and ask for ID and can arrest you for being in the country illegally.

I have to hope, really hope, that this action by gov.mexico will bring more folks sympathetic to AZ's position. How in the hell does a foreign government have standing to sue in federal court for an action that affects individuals? Governments don't have Constitutional protections.

Or am I just looney for expecting anything to make sense these days?

Customs and Border Protection will base a surveillance drone at the Corpus Christi Naval Air Station in Texas."

Not so fast. Nothing has changed. The elite still want a Mexican invasion so I have a suspicion that it will be used against us... :hs:

White House Picks Critic of Local Immigration Enforcement for Key Role at ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement).

    http://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...-critic-immigration-enforcement-key-role-ice/

As a police chief, Hurtt was a supporter of "sanctuary city" policies, by which illegal immigrants who don't commit crimes can live without fear of exposure or detainment because police don't check for immigration papers.

He also, during his tenure as Houston police chief, criticized ICE's key program that draws on local law enforcement's support.

Critics say his pro-immigration policies enabled illegal immigrants to kill two police officers and seriously injure another in Phoenix before he left in 2005 and to kill an officer in Houston before he retired in 2009.
