I have too many favorites to carry just one. I carry for the better part of a week and then switch to another.

    This week it's this one

CRKT Hissatsu folder or Spyderco Endura with the Emerson "wave" opening technology...which is awesome. Keep them razor sharp too, which I catch a bit of flak for. I am always putting the finishing touches on an edge before I walk out of the door. And they say women are always the hold up......."what took you guys so long? He was sharpening one of his knives".:D

    Hey Booseman,
Are they still handing out those Benchgmade Automatics like Candy over there...I would swap boose to get my hands on as many as i could.
The tanto blade aint worth a crap IMHO but standard blade is very nice...I came home with several, but have none left.

I prefer the Applegate for 3 reasons....Length of blade "people kinda freak out when you flip her open, the Point, and the fact that the carry pouch has provisions for wearing it like a normal knife, or wearing it parrallel with your belt...keeps it out of the way but easy to get too....

Your welcome to send me a few more, as i only have two left, and they are the larger ones, I would like one of the 1/2" wide dagger style ones :)

Keep your head down over there, and remember when in a black hawk, stay off the passenger side rear when going doors open, the best seat in the house is the door gunner chair, which just happens to be the second best seat for survibality if you crash, next to the pilot seat...HAHA...dont ask me how i know that :-)

Ive EDC'd the leak for a few years and loved it! I just havent replaced the one I lost about 7 months ago, and have been EDC'ing the Kershaw with the screw driver on it. That $10 "multi-tool" has been one beast of a knife!

Wilkins Grip 550 big hole. Serious workhorse, I've used this knife every day for 4 years. Hammered it thru the wall of a conex box once and used it as a step to get on top (emergency). Best blade, best lock, best contour knife I've ever had. Perfect to me. Warning: severe abuse photos, not easy to look at lol.

Isaac...I'm not really a "knife guy" but that thing is SEXY. :eek3:

In my typical boringly practical fashion, the only two pocket knives I own. I carry the Grip 90% of the time, the Mini is basically a backup. I also carry the SOG multitool daily.

You know I got a buddy sending me some xhp steel to try out. He says he loves it.

So far I like it however I haven't used it hard like S30V, VG-10, or CPM154. Unless I get another blade in CTS-XHP I probably won't get a chance to use it hard either. I will tell you what though I am really loving H1 steel. For this environment with our humidity and the frequent exposure to salt water I absolutely love H1. It isn't the best at anything besides not rusting however that is huge. I really do love it.

Thanks I am digging it. The one beautiful thing about getting into knives is you can whip them out and show them off in public without the police being called and you get to utilize them on a daily basis vs. just carrying for an unlikely worse case scenario.

You ought to do yourself a favor and buy yourself a sebenza. It all starts with CRKnives man. Next thing you know you will be memorizing steels and looking for your next frame lock fix. I probably trade two blades a month for something new.

I pick from one of these. ;) Have to say the CQC-7V and ZT 0560 make it more than any others. The CQC-12 is the smoothest Emerson (non custom) I have ever had, just don't carry it hardly at all.
