True, ideally all NFA laws should be overturned by an act of congress. But doesn't change the fact that the ATF is an unconstitutional waste of taxpayer money. The laws mean nothing anyway without the means and will to enforce them.
No they do not make the laws. They just interpret and reinterpret them whenever and however they want to.
I think this study/ban is a good thing for us. In this political climate they just pissed off thousands of gun owners. Even the Fudds these days have an AR sitting in their safe. If this doesn't get Uncle BATFuk neutered, nothing will.

Why is anyone worried about it other than wanting to buy green tip now so you can double the price in a few weeks. Armor penetrating 5.7 isn't suppose to be available but I see it for sale all the time. I'm sure it will still be available to Leo and end up in the civilian market.
Picked up a box of 150 at Academy in Metairie just cause I was in the area. $74.99, (.50/round). Probably could do better online but whatever.

Very good video. It's amazing we have let the BATF go on so long without any oversight. This is a total abuse of their powers and the entire agency should be disbanded.
That was my thought. I will order more after this is resolved.

You guys are right, them declaring M855 as AP ammo makes about as much sense as them saying a Sig brace magically turns into a buttstock when shouldered. Lol that would never happen.

Or the video from MAC where he basically talked about how dumb the ATF is and demonstrates how it works just like a buttstock. Kinda like the one right above where he talks about how stupid the ATF is because ALL 5.56 ammo can defeat typical police body armor. Yeah, that'll help.
