I do not quite understand how violent felons are allowed to drive. Cars are far more dangerous than guns. Cars are involved in many deaths and crimes. Criminals use cars to commit more crimes than with guns.

Society wants them to get a job? :dunno:

But yeah I agree with you.

A mad scientist invents a device that supposedly makes you 10 times smarter than you are. He is afraid to test it out on himself so he goes and enlists the help of the stupidest person he knows; his blonde next door neighbor. While hooking up the wires to her skull, he is somewhat distracted by her low cut dress and when he finally throws the switch on the "Smart Machine" it makes a horrible, unfamiliar noise then cuts off. He runs over to the blonde in a panic and speaks very slowly, "I'm sorry, I hooked the wire up backwards. I just made you 10 times STUPIDER than you already are. Can you even understand what I am saying?"

The blonde stares at him with a confused look then says...............

Then he trips over the machine trying to unplug her, hits the button again on accident and makes her even 10 more times stupider than she already is.

She then shouts, "AM I BEING DETAINED!?!?!?!?!"

Just out of curiosity,do you believe in "strawmen" and print your own license plates?

Definately sounds like some Sovereign Citizen stuff to me for sure. I guess he's just "a free man freely traveling about the land". He probably signed his DL "under duress".

We got duped into giving up our rights

    Wolf

Yeah, I'm sure our forefathers fully intended for the constitution and bill of rights to protect a "right" that wasn't even conceived for 115 years after the signing of those documents.

Please enlighten us as to how "we were duped into giving up our rights" as it pertains to driver's licenses and motor vehicle registration.

This thread delivers on the derp from almost all parties involved. I feel like everyone is at least half wrong. As it relates to legal matters, once you have a DL, you have a vested right, and restriction of that right can not come without due process. Before you have it a DL, it is not your right. The end.

I was taking a shot at the Liberal garbage about doing things "for the children." I do not understand what you meant in your response.

If you truly do not understand then that is good enough for me.

Thanks for clearing that up for us Jack.
