    British Jihadists in Syria
    June 26, 2014 |

Britain's young Muslims are taking the fight against President Bashir al-Assad from UK towns to the frontlines of Syria. VICE News headed to the civil war-torn country to follow Amer Deghayes, a 20-year-old former student from Brighton, who joined the "holy war" against his father's wishes after carrying out extensive research online. We joined Amer after the death of his 18-year-old brother Abdullah, who died in a fierce battle against Assad forces in northern Syria. Undeterred by the bloody and brutal conflict, Amer's 16-year-old brother Jaffer has since met up with him in Syria. The UK is now attempting to combat, block, and remove thousands of items of "jihadist propaganda" from the internet in an attempt to deter Britons from taking up arms abroad.

For Amer, the power of jihadist social media — which promotes stories of jihadi legend, martyrdom, and paradise — opened his eyes to the suffering of Muslims in Syria. England is also now citing returning militants as "the biggest security threat to the United Kingdom." The government's position could leave Amer — and the possibly thousands of unknown British fighters — stranded in increasingly fierce and bloody conflicts, and within the grasp of extremist jihadist groups. Obama Seeking $500 Million To Train, Arm Syrian Rebels
    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/06/26/obama-syrian-rebels_n_5534421.html

    ...sigh...oh boy....

Foreign involvement in the Iraq crisis has escalated again today as the US requested money to arm rebels fighting the hardline Sunni militants controlling parts of Syria and Iraq, and reports indicated that the country's vital ally Iran may support a change in leadership. Meanwhile, evidence of summary execution by both government forces and insurgents is mounting, as sectarian violence appears to be spiraling further out of control.

Iraqi Leadership. Iran has "boots on the ground" fighting to prevent Syrian Leadership Change. Iran is admitting they pulled a Rumsfeld and supported a guy in Maliki incapable of providing leadership.

So Obama's shrewd idea is to send 300 "advisors" to Iraq.......These people will be dropped between two warring factions that only agree on two things which are... they hate America and they hate Israel.

So I wish someone would explain the objective of these 300 Americans we are inserting into the middle of this

My hunch is that the role of these "advisors" will soon be put to good use.

I doubt with the situation as it is the SOF Asset ever leaves its staging areas. It is too small of a force to be anything but a targeting cell and as it becomes more clear that this is a full blown Civil War it's less likely that we will be assisting Maliki's Gov.

Proof the Democrats Made the Case For War With Iraq

    http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=214_1404244897

As you know, this has been out there for quite some time. What should REALLY chap everyone's ass is how profoundly stupid these phony scumbags KNOW and UNDERSTAND the general populace is when it comes to these issues.

One would think that the flood of media on demand at everyone's fingertips would educate people more to this blatant disingenuousness by these self-important POS. Alas, much to these scum's delight, it doesn't even phase them to lie directly to the American citizenry because they NEVER seem to pay a price for their demagoguery.

Folks, we live amongst some very stupid and clueless people.

By making this into a partisan issue your making yourself part of that duped general populace. Big Business proffitedd by Trililons of Dollars off the the war in Iraq. If you wanna know who made the case for the war in Iraq look at Halliburton, Lockheed, Big Oil, Dyncorp, and the rest. The Politicians are just the self serving cut outs.

    Huh?

Representatives have to be held accountable.
This is merely part of doing so by reminding the public
that the one's who get the finger pointed at them the most for (WAR)
weren't the only one's making the case for it when it was decided.

    Nothing more than a PSA.

Again, Reps have to be held accountable,
if we leave them out of it
then who do we petition for change?

    Halliburton?

No partisanship in my comment necessarily intended! They ARE ALL scumbags!

My contention? If you are on videotape advocating/supporting one thing because it is the popular stance du jour, then you should have to explain yourself when you hop the fence if things go south down the road. If you changed your mind on an issue, say you've changed your mind; and own it.

The legacy of corruption in politics persists, when no one is challenged for their newly found revelations.

As for corporations making trillions from people's kids dying in war? My kids ain't joining!

It's the passed. Everybody who didn't vote against it is at fault. It's not a Dem vs. Rep thing. It's a bi-partisan ****-up. The finger pointing should be based on individual actions rather than Party Affiliation. Kusinich was right, Dick Cheney was wrong. It doesn't matter what letter came after their name. That's the point I was trying to make.

That's fine! However, I think the scumbags with the (D), behind their names have shown they are far more likely to benefit when people's brains and memory fails.
