US-made Stinger missiles have likely fallen into ISIS hands, officials say
U.S. officials with access to the latest U.S. intelligence on Iraq told Fox News it "appears likely/probable" that U.S.-made Stinger missiles have fallen into the hands of Sunni insurgents.
It is possible that the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) fighters acquired them from army bases they have taken over in recent days, the sources said.

Stinger Missles are not the Little Fingers of Good they are made out to be. I'd be a whole lot more worried if the Jihadis got ahold of a bunch of Javelins.
There have been MANPADs as effective as the Stinger commonly available all over
The world since the 1970s. Guided Missle Systems require maintenance. They have to be stored correctly. They need specialized not commercially available batteries. It's not as easy as people think it is.
Call me crazy but the cartels in Mexico have a Trillion Dollar interest in making sure things guaranteed to increase Border Security don't cross the border. Nobody cares about dope and aliens but let a MANPAD that kills an Airliner get traced back to the border and see how quickly America gets real and your
Profits suffer. Plus why trust someone to carry across when you can just pack it into a
Conex box?
They have been commonly available all over the world since the 70s. Quadaffi had the largest stock in the world. He never got a plane with one. Only 40% of his stock is accounted for.
My friend said this a.m. that they(ISIL and Former Sadaam Party) (He pronounces it bath-eez party)
are in-fighting on which flag to fly over the cities that the Iraqi Gov. doesn't control.
The Saddam Era Iraqi Flag or the Black ISIL Flag.

Wouldn't it be nice to hear just one; ONE, military analyst relay that same info on ANY news outlets. Because if that is true, and I have no reason to disbelieve you, then the mere mention of the subject without that caveat is irresponsible.
It's sensationalist media. I saw a link to some stupid Glenn Beck Rant it was: Blah blah Terrorist blah blah Israel blah blah God Bless blah blah Nuclear Option. Basically it was a bunch of words that stir emotion with no actual facts to hold them together. It's cognitive cheese puffs. But its profitable so it is what ALL of the networks do. I don't know a single credible intel expert who would sit and talk to the media. Nobody want's their name attached to a bunch of misconstrued , out of context info.
